As a workaround you can disable the offending shader. Navigate to "<PA Install dir>\media\shaders" and replace post.json with the version in the ZIP file below. PA will then start normally. Instant crash with Intel HD Graphics 520/530
Instant crash in Intel drivers.
Update Your GPU Drivers
Make sure you are using the latest drives:
- 520: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/88355/Intel-HD-Graphics-520
- 530: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/88345/Intel-HD-Graphics-530
