The following is planned as a replacement for:

  • community mods map pack client mods
  • system sharing client mod
  • system sharing server

File:Gold-rank-icon.png Community Maps

Community maps will be:

  • uniquely identifiable using identifiers and versions similar to mods
  • searchable
  • downloadable individually with no installation required
  • downloadable as collections with no installation required (replacing map pack client mods)

Community Maps will add user interface for players to:

  • search for maps
  • filter by game type, number of players, author, etc
  • download maps in new game lobby
  • mark as favourites
  • show recently played
  • show recommended in new game lobby
  • allow map suggested to host in new game lobby

Community Maps will add user interface for map makers to:

  • specify new properties and extended descriptions
  • edit landing zones rules
